Andropogon gerardii
Big Bluestem grass, also known as Turkeyfoot grass, is a striking addition to the larger native plant garden.   It prefers full sun, moist to dry soil, stands 5’ tall and eventually spreads to about 4’ wide.  Beautiful blue-tinged foliage, and the birds enjoy eating the seeds.
